I honestly don’t know what I’m doing with my life. But isn’t that what being 25 is all about?

Study: Are Music-Loving Teens More Likely to be Depressed?
“At this point, it is not clear whether depressed people begin to listen to more music to escape, or whether listening to large amounts of music can lead to depression, or both,” said Primack in a statement.

Vanessa and I live oceans apart from each other (that sounds more dramatic than it should, but it’s a fact - she lives in Canada, I live in the Philippines), but we share a love for plastic cameras. And we’re finally blogging about at this blog! In case you’re wondering, the title of the blog is taken from the song by Elizabeth and the Catapults.

Eisley’s newest record, The Valley, is streaming today. I’ve been listening for hours now, and I love it more and more with each listen. You should listen, too. That is all.

My Disderi robot-cam wins yet again.
You should know that on my trip to Bangkok a few weeks ago, I brought FOUR cameras: my Nikon D40, my digital harinezumi 2++, my instax mini, and the Disderi robot camera. So I haven’t uploaded a lot just because I have a lot to upload, and the thing is, I jumped straight into the 9-6 day job thing only two days after I arrived. I only got the Disderi...

My robot-cam Disderi won!
Chloe, look what came in the mail today?
So I was standing outside our house because my nephew was being really annoying, when the mailman came with his bike and asked me if I was Kannika. Then he handed me a package, from Daniel Zender. It’s the SSLYBY European Tour Book. I haven’t perused the whole thing yet (delayed gratification), but I’m sure it’s going to be...
I almost never win anything, so I’m really excited to have been one of the 200 winners of this awesome Travel Book by Lonely Planet.
And I didn’t even have to scroll down too far or hit ctrl+f to find my name. I’m really excited for this book because it contains 800+ photos from all over the world, and amazing articles about 200+ destinations. Of course, it will take at...
I am admittedly nervous about the new year, to be honest. I am a ball of anxiety - like, imagine a ball of yarn that’s threatening to, I don’t know, come apart. The amount of coffee that I drink every other hour does not help, either. So right now I’m starting to think of things to look forward to in 2011. Here’s a list:
1. My Bangkok trip (January 25-29) with Inad

edit: LOL, wrong date. Sorry, I’m so unprofessional. Haha.

My package from featherproof books came just a few minutes earlier, and yet a few weeks late (holiday rush FAIL). I had to rush to the post office, because the notification came around 4:30pm, and if I didn’t get it today I would have to wait till next year (literally) to get the package. So full of awesome.
Aside from the book, The Universe in Miniature in Miniature by Patrick...

Let’s get one thing out of the way: if you love music, and you’re online almost the whole day, you had better check out Daytrotter. Here’s their “mission-vision” statement, which shows their integrity and passion for music.
What Daytrotter is attempting to do is to not kid around with you and tell you that we found something that you never knew existed. We are...

Remember in this post I talked about my toy cameras? And how I wished I hadn’t ruined my first roll of film that I used for the Disderi camera? Well. I didn’t ruin all the shots. But I only did manage to get five of them formed. Haha. Oh the joy of toy cameras.
Hopefully my next roll will feature the people I took photos of, and not just photos of our fence and other...
I spend a lot of time in front of my desk, and so I made sure it’s cluttered filled with stuff I wouldn’t mind looking at whenever I do the “staring into space” thing. Here are the things on my desk today. I mean, if you care.

I’m slowly trying to go back to writing fiction, and my goal is to write one a day, inspired by the sound of some songs I love. It’s password-protected because I’m quite reluctant to share it with anyone yet, but if anyone wants to read it (which I highly doubt), you can message me and I can give you the password. Or if I know you personally I’ll probably just give the password to you anyway....
